Your personal adventure can include kayaking, hiking or biking. You might extend into Jordan and visit the wonder of Petra and the amazing desert landscapes of Wadi Rum.  Or continue to the beaches of Eliat or Aqaba for scuba diving, snorkeling, or just relaxing in the sun on the Red Sea. Days 1-2: Depart Home / Arrive Tel Aviv

Welcome to Israel!  Israel is a country rich with history and natural beauty.  The modern city of Tel Aviv is on the Mediterranean coastline with gorgeous views and beautiful beaches.  Get acquainted to the country over a welcome dinner.

Day 3-4: Hike Mt. Carmel / Explore Caesarea / Zip-line at Manara Cliff

Visit the ancient port of Jaffa, with its long history and lovingly restored with renovated houses, artists’ studios and galleries.  Continue along the Mediterranean coast to Caesarea, built by Herod the Great as the capital of the Roman province of Judea.

The ruins include the theater, hippodrome and palace of the Roman Governor, Pontius Pilate.  Hike Mt. Carmel, part of a UNESCO biosphere reserve.  Descend on the Sea of Galilee to visit Capernaum, a Jewish city that was the center of Jesus’ ministry in Galilee.  Experience the zip-line at Manara Cliff and ride a cable car up over the mountains.

Day 5: Visit Tel Dan Nature Reserve / Kayak along the Jordan River 

Drive through the city of Tiberias, considered one of Judaism’s Four Holy Cities.  Continue to Tel Dan nature reserve and archaeological site, located in one of the tributaries of the Jordan River.

Tel Dan is a nature reserve and the source of the Dan and Jordan Rivers and an impressive archaeological site.  Kayak down the Jordan and Hatzbani Rivers.

Days 6-8: Take a Guided Tour of Old Jerusalem / Explore Bethlehem / Take a Cable Car to Masada / Walk the Western Wall Tunnels

Explore Jerusalem and the City of David.  Ascend to Mt. Zion and visit the excavations along the retaining wall of the Temple Mount.  Visit the Western (Wailing) Wall, the holiest site in the Jewish world.  Walk the tunnels underneath the surface and learn more about the fascinating history of this focal point.

Walk along the Via Dolorosa and enter the Church of the Holy Sepulchre.  Later head to Bethlehem and see the birthplace of Jesus and scenes of the nativity. Float in the Dead Sea, the lowest spot on earth and continue to Masada, the site of one of the most dramatic scenes in Jewish history.  Take a cable car to the top of the mountain and marvel at the Dead Sea and views.

Day 9: Depart Tel Aviv / Arrive Home

Say goodbye to Israel and your new friends and get ready to head home and share the memories you’ve just made on this amazing family adventure.
