I work with our worldwide team of family travel experts and our passengers in developing new adventures, enhancing current adventures, marketing, sales and all other facets of this ever changing business. Making sure the adventures exceed your expectations is probably the most rewarding part of my role. As the first adventure travel company devoted to family travel we are happy to say that it has been built on word of mouth from our past guests.

I started working with owners Rick and Judi back in 1994 as the GM of Thomson Safaris in Arusha, Tanzania, a photographic safari company. Upon my return to the U.S. four years later, they had me over for coffee to explore future opportunities, and Thomson Family Adventures was born.

With my wife Kim and my two sons Christian and Joshua, my life outside of work is filled with Cub Scout meetings and campouts, soccer, music lessons and hockey. My family also just got a little bigger with the addition two German Shepherd puppies, so you can imagine I’m kept just as busy at home as I am at Thomson. But I love every minute of it.
