Dear Thomson Families,

Hello fellow adventurers! When our brand new brochure hits the streets on Friday we will be launching four new adventures. We are really excited about these new adventures but we don’t have room for everyone to come along. We want you, our alumni, to have the first chance to grab them before the space is gone. In addition we have two beta trips to Baja, Mexico with very limited space.

Be a Beta in Baja

This is nowhere in print, and only available to our alumni – a Thomson Family Adventure at cost in exchange for your thoughts and impressions afterwards. The dates are March 14 – 22 or April 4 – 10 2009, and both departures offer great hiking, waterfalls, desert, surfing, kayaking, swimming with sea lions and Mexican cooking lessons. March 14 includes two additional days of whale watching as they migrate through. Have you ever scratched a whale’s chin?

Tanzania Active Safari for Families with Teens

Along with outstanding wildlife viewing there will be biking, bush walks, a community service project and a trek up Mt Meru with one night camping in a hut. For those of you with kids 12 and up it is a unique and satisfying way to see the country. We are only offering two departures in summer 2009!

No overnights on a boat!

Try our unique Galapagos Multi-Sport Adventure, where your four nights in the islands will be land based, with lots of kayaking, snorkeling and hiking. For adventurous families with children 11 and up, this is a great way to explore the islands up close.

New Art Adventures!

Learn to draw, paint, and practice local crafts while experiencing the culture and adventure of Costa Rica. Or bring along your camera to the Galapagos where an award winning professional photographer will teach you new tricks. Your whole family will learn new ways to both see and express the wonders around you.
